Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focuses on the “here and now” and symptoms removal. It is psychotherapy that focuses on changing negative or faulty patterns of thinking into accurate, desirable ones. The objective is typically to identify and monitor thoughts and assumptions, beliefs and behaviors that are accompanied by negative emotions and to identify those that are dysfunctional and inaccurate. After recognizing these negative thoughts and behaviors they are then replaced with positive thoughts and behaviors.
